The Restaurant Production Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree equips students with essential food production expertise for managing diverse food service establishments. Coursework in food management covers inventory management, operational assessment, procurement, food preparation, team leadership, and staff supervision.

Students refine their skills by running South's Food Court (offering both traditional and modern menu options, a quick-service grill, convenience foods, and a deli counter) and Alhadeff Grill, a full-service restaurant showcasing made-to-order dishes prepared with techniques used in high-end Pacific Northwest eateries.

The program maintains strong industry partnerships to create practical, cutting-edge curriculum that prepares graduates for rewarding careers in the hospitality field.
