The restaurant management Associate of Science degree equips you for managerial roles in various food service settings including restaurants, cafes, coffee houses, cafeterias, bars, and similar venues. Career opportunities include positions as food and beverage directors, dining room coordinators, quick-service restaurant supervisors, or event catering specialists. The program also offers professional development for current industry workers. Students gain essential competencies for managing diverse hospitality businesses such as hotels, eateries, beverage establishments, catering services, and quick-service operations. This curriculum holds accreditation from the American Culinary Federation Foundation's Accrediting Commission located at 180 Center Place Way, St. Augustine, Florida 32095. To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.
