The American Indian and Indigenous Studies program enables students to connect with Native American communities across the United States. This academic program focuses on expanding student understanding of Native nations' histories, languages, cultural traditions, artistic expressions, and current circumstances. It highlights both past and present aspects of Indigenous experiences. Program alumni pursue graduate studies or professional roles in tribal governance, public sector agencies, nonprofit groups, or community initiatives. The curriculum allows for customization and pairs well with other academic disciplines.
