As experts in sports medicine, athletic trainers specialize in preventing, assessing, and addressing injuries or medical issues in patients and athletes. Through their work, they make a meaningful impact on every individual they care for. Our career-focused Master of Science in Athletic Training (M.S.A.T.) stands as the state's inaugural entry-level master's program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.

We provide hands-on experience from the start: clinical rotations commence in your first term, and you'll gain diverse experience across multiple settings before completing our athletic training program. Graduates of our program consistently secure employment after completing their studies, with first-time pass rates on the Board of Certification exam significantly exceeding national averages. Our alumni now serve athletes and active individuals with prominent organizations such as NCAA teams, the NFL's Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots, Cirque du Soleil, as well as numerous public and private high schools.
