Every financial transaction today, from basic checking accounts to complex mergers and acquisitions, relies on technology. The convergence of finance, business analytics, data science, and machine learning represents the forefront of modern financial practice.
Seton Hall's innovative Finance and Technology (FinTech) major equips students to connect financial expertise with technological skills, positioning graduates for high-demand, lucrative careers in finance. The curriculum combines financial strategy and investment analysis with programming and information modeling courses, offered at one of only two U.S. universities providing an undergraduate FinTech specialization.
Since 2014, Seton Hall has participated in the CFA Institute's University Recognition Program, with its Finance, Mathematical Finance, and Finance and Technology programs covering over 70% of the CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge. These cutting-edge programs emphasize ethical standards while preparing students for the Chartered Financial Analyst credential - the gold standard in investment management. As a recognized CFA program, Seton Hall awards multiple annual scholarships to support students pursuing this prestigious designation.
