Seton Hall University provides an accelerated dual degree program that combines a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences (SOBT) with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT). This intensive five-year (3+2) pathway allows students to start with foundational liberal arts studies before transitioning to professional training, which includes hands-on clinical internships.
The Occupational Therapy curriculum demands exceptional commitment, maintaining strict academic standards. Between 2021 and 2023, the program admitted 177 students, with 173 (97.7%) successfully graduating. While most students complete the program, some may opt to leave for personal reasons. Upon graduation, students qualify to sit for the National Certification Examination for Occupational Therapists (NBCOT).
