The Public Relations program at the College of Communication and the Arts stands among the select few undergraduate programs across the country to earn certification from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). This major equips students with the professional methodologies employed by corporations, nonprofits, and government entities within a global context to evaluate scenarios and craft, develop, and deliver strategic communications.
Through coursework, Public Relations students explore how digital platform advancements enhance both local and international PR initiatives, then put this knowledge into practice through internships with agencies, businesses, nonprofits, or other institutions. Numerous students also engage with our PRSSA chapter, gaining hands-on experience by executing actual campaigns for professional clients.
