Global Studies offers an interdisciplinary exploration of historical and modern globalization processes and opposition movements. Through analyzing cultural, economic, and political systems, this program fosters sophisticated understanding of worldwide exchanges involving populations, concepts, creative works, goods, and capital. It equips learners with analytical skills to develop fair approaches for addressing urgent worldwide issues. Those pursuing an A.A., A.B. or A.S. degree with this concentration can transition to bachelor's programs in Global/International Studies or related fields with international components. Important: While the Global Studies Emphasis doesn't guarantee university transfer agreements, many included courses satisfy requirements for international studies programs.
