The Vocational Nursing program equips students to become skilled, caring, and principled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs). Our high-caliber vocational education addresses the varied requirements of both students and the community. Through a student-focused nursing curriculum, we promote educational opportunities and outstanding achievement, readying graduates to excel on the NCLEX PN exam and pursue Vocational Nursing careers across diverse healthcare environments. These include nursing homes, senior living communities, residential treatment centers, dementia care wings, rehabilitation units, end-of-life and home care services, educational institutions, correctional facilities, medical clinics, outpatient surgery centers, and doctor's practices.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
