The Master of Science in Nutritional Science program caters to students holding a bachelor's degree who want advanced training in nutrition science, nutrition education, senior nutrition, and foodservice/restaurant operations and packaging. This program aims to develop professionals capable of taking on leadership positions in their field and local communities while also laying the groundwork for potential doctoral studies. Alumni of our MS program have pursued PhDs, joined academic faculties, worked in government and private research facilities, and launched independent practices or consulting firms. While completing the MS degree requirements, students can also fulfill the academic prerequisites set by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for registered dietitian certification. Class schedules are designed with working graduate students' availability in mind.
