Moss Landing Marine Laboratories (MLML) ranks as Monterey Bay's second oldest marine research facility. Founded in 1966, it has gained global recognition for outstanding marine science research and academic programs. MLML oversees the multidisciplinary Master of Science in marine science program for seven California State University campuses: East Bay, Fresno, Monterey Bay, Sacramento, San Francisco, San José, and Stanislaus. With its practical, field-focused methodology, MLML positions students, faculty, researchers, and staff at the forefront of marine science exploration globally. U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
