The Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, provided by the School of Journalism and Mass Communications, equips students for the diverse and dynamic realm of integrated strategic communications. This program teaches students to enhance organizational branding through media channels and digital influencers, develop marketing communication materials, and design and manage PR initiatives. Curriculum covers research methods, web metrics, strategic messaging, content development, event coordination, digital platforms, online advertising, along with focused studies in internal communications and sports PR. Alumni pursue careers across agencies and businesses in Silicon Valley, nationally, and globally, spanning industries from technology and healthcare to sports and media.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
