The Materials Engineering SAGE Scholars Program enables students to concurrently pursue their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Materials Engineering, allowing them to finish both degrees in five years instead of the typical six. The SAGE Scholars Program Coordinator guides students through a smooth transition from undergraduate to graduate studies, eliminating the need for a formal graduate program application. Participants can merge their senior project with their master's thesis research, facilitating deeper, publication-ready investigations that enhance their readiness for doctoral programs and professional roles. Through extended collaboration with research mentors, the program fosters intellectual development and strengthens students' research capabilities.
