Civil Engineers are responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction of structures such as buildings, roads, bridges, water supply networks, communication systems, and transportation infrastructure. They utilize contemporary technology to address pollution and urban planning issues, as well as to overcome various engineering obstacles. The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering provides both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The undergraduate curriculum, administered by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and accredited by ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission, encompasses studies in construction, environmental, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 80 (IBT), Paper based – 550; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
