The Bachelor of Music with a Performance Concentration, provided by the School of Music and Dance, prepares students for professional careers as vocalists or instrumental performers. Alongside foundational music studies, the curriculum features weekly one-hour private instruction and involvement in major ensembles like orchestras, choirs, concert bands, and opera productions. Participants frequently showcase their talents through solo and small ensemble performances, both in private studio settings and public concerts. Beyond standard coursework, the program mandates junior and senior recital presentations.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
