The Master of Social Work (MSW) program equips graduates for advanced professional practice by developing core competencies alongside specialized knowledge and skills for higher-level social work. This program is exclusively available as a full-time course of study, requiring two years (four semesters) to complete.
Our competency-focused approach to social work education emphasizes measurable outcomes, with each competency encompassing knowledge, values, skills, and cognitive processes. The program aims to prepare students to effectively apply social work competencies when working with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.
The MSW program's learning outcomes align with the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS) established by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
