The Computational Science program at San Diego State University provides a Master's degree focused on computational methods. This curriculum includes specialized coursework and research initiatives guided by SDSU professors from various science departments, including Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geology, Mathematics, and Physics. The program emphasizes practical scientific problem-solving, requiring students to complete an interdisciplinary thesis project, which may involve external research collaborations. Upon completion, graduates will be qualified for careers in scientific research, computational programming, and software development. Each student's academic plan requires approval from the Computational Science committee.
