Students pursuing a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology can only begin their studies during the Fall semester each year. Applicants must complete undergraduate or post-baccalaureate coursework in speech, language, and hearing sciences before qualifying for the MA program. This residential program spans five consecutive semesters (two academic years plus the summer between) and is exclusively offered as an in-person experience.
The speech-language pathology MA program demands full-time commitment with a rigorous curriculum. While financial aid supports most enrolled students, some maintain limited on-campus employment of 5-10 hours weekly. The program's structured course sequence prevents part-time enrollment options, requiring students to focus entirely on their studies.
