San Diego State University, San Diego United States
The DrPH programs are delivered through SDSU's School of Public Health (SPH), part of the College of Health and Human Services. Founded in 1970, the SPH ranks among California's earliest public health schools. In 2022, the California legislature approved the DrPH as a new degree option for CSU institutions, with program details outlined in Title V of the state's Education Act. CEPH accredits the SPH. The Executive Management Dr.P.H. equips practicing public health experts with higher-level competencies for leading complex health organizations, facilitating career progression to top-tier positions. The curriculum includes ten sequential courses (33 credits), a 3-unit advanced practicum, and a dissertation (P H 899) worth up to 12 units, totaling at least 48 units for graduation.
