Undergraduate Certificates in Advanced Language Studies in Fairfield United States | Sacred Heart University

Students have the opportunity to obtain Certificates in Advanced Language Studies upon completing 6 credits at the third-year college level (201 or above) in Spanish or Italian. These certificate credits can be fulfilled through courses taken at Sacred Heart, study abroad programs, or transfer credits after the student enrolls at our institution. Since the certificates require just 6 credits, advanced placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) credits are not eligible. Those pursuing foreign language majors or minors are ineligible for certificates, as they are already earning formal degrees in these areas.
