The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Civil Technology is an associate degree program designed to equip students for entry and successful completion of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology at RIT's College of Engineering Technology. It provides a thorough grounding in civil engineering basics, including engineering graphics, computer-aided design applications, construction materials and techniques, surveying, statics, strength of materials, and building construction fundamentals. Begin with an AAS in Civil Technology at RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf, which supplies the necessary courses and credits to advance into a bachelor's degree program.
