Our Master of Architecture (MArch) program provides a three-year degree option along with an advanced standing pathway, standing out as one of the few US programs housed within an art and design college. We view design and creation as an intentional, contemplative practice that both shapes and emerges from cultural, technological, material, political, and social contexts. Students gain the creative freedom and professional skills needed to thrive in client-focused architectural practice. The three-year program develops core competencies essential to architectural creativity: fabrication techniques and visual communication, ethical standards and building technologies, theoretical foundations and historical perspectives, plus architectural projection and design methodologies. The curriculum emphasizes expressing concepts not just verbally, but through tangible creation.
