Our Post-Baccalaureate Doctor of Occupational Therapy program draws upon five decades of educational excellence to develop clinical leaders in occupational therapy. This intensive 3-year program (including summer terms) comprises 115 credit hours.
The curriculum features four tiered components:
OT Foundations: Engaging lectures and seminars covering theoretical, philosophical and scientific practice fundamentals
Professional Practice: Classroom instruction combined with hands-on learning in clinical and lab environments
Fieldwork Experience: Two intensive 12-week clinical placements preparing students for professional practice
Doctoral Capstone: A 14-week culminating experience featuring an in-depth scholarly project in occupational therapy
Engaging in meaningful activities - whether necessary, desired, or beloved - enriches our lives. Occupational therapists empower individuals and communities to maintain, improve, or regain participation in valued occupations affected by health conditions, injuries, aging, or life circumstances. Through therapeutic intervention, OTs foster wellbeing and engagement throughout all stages of life.
