The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at Queens College provides ACS-accredited programs in both Chemistry and Biochemistry. Our curriculum features undergraduate and graduate degrees, including BS, BS/MS, and MS options with concentrations in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Additionally, we provide a BA in chemistry education that leads to New York State certification for teaching grades 7-12. Our mission is to deliver a comprehensive, rigorous education that develops students' analytical, laboratory, and digital competencies for success in chemical and biochemical careers. Through our programs, students gain a sophisticated molecular understanding of nature using contemporary, quantitative methods while acquiring practical skills for professional advancement.
