ANTHROPOLOGY MAJOR. Anthropology majors can select between two pathways: general and pre-professional. The pre-professional track, requiring 39 credits, caters to students planning graduate studies in anthropology or similar fields. This intensive program demands more 300-level courses (including a seminar) than the general track, plus coursework in anthropological statistics. Both tracks offer the option to complete an honors thesis during the senior year.
