Students will develop the ability to:
identify and describe key evolutionary and prehistoric factors that shaped global human diversity in culture, biology, and language.
engage with and critically assess the foundations, objectives, approaches, and findings of anthropological studies.
understand anthropology's four major subfields and their significance to the discipline.
utilize anthropological research methodologies in practice.
To be admitted to an undergraduate degree program as a regular freshman student, you must be a graduate from an approved or accredited high school. You must have a 3.0 weighted GPA in the academic core courses in order to be admitted to the University of Nevada, Reno.
Verification of having met the English requirement through one of the following options: TOEFL score 61+; IELTS (must be academic version) with a score of 6.0+; Duolingo English Exam score 95+; Cambridge score of B2+.
