Purdue University Northwest offers a combined 41-credit Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) program, enabling students to earn both degrees in just five years instead of the typical six years required when pursuing them individually. High-achieving undergraduates can expand their knowledge and enhance their career opportunities by completing this accelerated dual-degree program.
As an electrical and computer engineering undergraduate, you'll take a mix of general education courses, College of Engineering and Sciences curriculum, and specialized electrical and computer engineering classes.
This integrated program permits students to apply up to nine credits of graduate-level courses, approved by the Graduate Advisor or ECE Department's Graduate Committee, toward both bachelor's and master's degree requirements. This streamlined approach enables qualified candidates to finish both programs in five years. The graduate component provides both thesis and non-thesis pathways.
Upon completing this program, graduates will be equipped to:

Applicants must have official high school transcript(s) or GED test score report.
Test scores: Internet Based TOEFL (iBT) - 79 or higher; IELTS with a score of at least 6.5 or higher; British O-Level English Language Exam with a Grade of A or B on Ordinary Level of GCE/GCSE/IGCSE. PNW Undergraduate Admissions accepts a 100-110 Duolingo English Test score band.
