The electromechanical engineering technology program provides interdisciplinary education through the integration of electronics and computers in engineering systems. This major features a customized curriculum with courses in electronics, electrical systems, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering, along with necessary prerequisites. Graduates are equipped for careers in instrumentation, controls, technical sales, and other fields requiring cross-disciplinary knowledge. Students must have completed a high school or secondary school academic performance.
English proficiency requirements:
TOEFL iBT and IELTS: Minimum scores of 79-80 TOEFL iBT and IELTS 6.5 are required for admission to Wayne State.
MET: WSU also accepts exam scores from the 4 skill Michigan English Test (MET). You must score a minimum of 64 on the MET.
Duolingo: You must score a minimum of 110 on the Duolingo test.
