Aircraft represent intricate engineering achievements that draw upon multiple scientific, engineering, and mathematical fields. An aeronautical engineering technology degree equips you with the expertise to develop, sustain, and enhance these vehicles while advancing the well-being of those who rely on them. Throughout this program, you'll master the design, production, maintenance, operation, and support of diverse aerospace craft.
The AET curriculum encompasses applied aeronautical structures and materials, electrical systems, powerplants, vehicle systems, and design. Earning a Bachelor of Science in AET may also qualify you to pursue Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
The Aeronautical Engineering Technology major falls under the Aeronautical Engineering Technology program, which holds accreditation from ABET's Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission at www.abet.org.
