Graduates with a B.S. in Aviation provide outstanding value to airlines. The training at Minnesota State Mankato adheres to rigorous FAA Part 141 standards, utilizing a custom syllabus focused on automation, multiengine procedures, and real-world operational scenarios. Students typically complete 20 hours in our FAA-certified simulator, encountering both standard flight conditions and emergency situations. However, students in the Aviation program at Minnesota State University, Mankato gain more than just training. This includes Part 141 flight instruction, the most sought-after training for pilots in the industry.
