Our program equips you to take on leadership positions in overseeing an organization's physical infrastructure, offering the strategic and management framework required to efficiently plan, fund, design, construct, and maintain corporate assets. The 35-credit STEM-designated Master of Science in Facilities Management develops graduates into skilled professionals and critical thinkers ready for high-level roles in facility operations and long-term planning. This 35-credit STEM program molds students into capable experts prepared for executive duties in facilities administration and strategic development. Pratt's Facilities Management degree can be finished in three full-time semesters, with evening classes available at the Manhattan campus. Students may begin in either fall or spring. The curriculum emphasizes sustainable methods and cutting-edge technological solutions while fostering ethical principles that set Pratt's FM graduates apart as they pioneer improvements in built environment quality.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or interior design. Applicants in other fields are eligible but may be required to take non-credit courses in building technology unless they have acquired equivalent knowledge through non-academic experience. Admission is for fall and spring term.
TOEFL score of 79 (internet and home test), TOEFL ITP Plus for China of 550, IELTS of 6.5, Duolingo of 105, or PTE of 53 is required.
