Associate in Arts for Transfer in Economics (Merritt College) in Oakland United States | Peralta Community College District

The Associate in Arts in Economics for Transfer (AA-T) program is designed to fulfill the introductory course requirements for Economics majors or related fields within the California State University (CSU) system. At Merritt College, economics education aims to equip students with the understanding, appreciation, and analytical skills to examine how wealth is produced, distributed, and consumed in society.
Earning this degree provides students with certain transfer benefits to the CSU system, including guaranteed junior standing upon admission, preferential consideration at their nearest CSU campus, and access to economics or comparable majors.
