The Bachelor of Arts in Child Development delivers up-to-date understanding of developmental theories, research methodologies, and hands-on learning via internship placements. This program examines child growth across multiple domains (including physical, neurological, cognitive, social, and emotional) from prenatal stages through young adulthood. Specialized coursework investigates how diverse factors - such as family dynamics, peer interactions, educational environments, cultural influences, adversity, and coping mechanisms - shape developmental pathways. Students develop competencies in observational techniques, research methods, and evaluation approaches. The curriculum features three guided internships, offering practical experience in professional environments relevant to the field.
