The Associate in Arts in Economics for Transfer Degree prepares students to transfer smoothly with junior standing and priority admission to a CSU campus for an Economics or related bachelor's degree program. Requirements include: Completing 60 semester or 90 quarter transferable units, including: (A) Either IGETC or CSU General Education Breadth Requirements, and (B) At least 18 semester or 27 quarter units in a district-approved major or emphasis area. Students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and earn a C or better in all major courses. The degree requires no more than 60 semester units and also facilitates transfer to UC or other four-year institutions. Consultation with a counselor is recommended to confirm transfer requirements.
