Mexican/Latin American Studies is a cross-disciplinary field that takes a comparative approach, incorporating insights from social sciences, behavioral sciences, humanities, and arts. Our local Associate of Arts program provides diverse courses examining Latin America along with Chicanx and Latinx experiences at both local and international scales. The program's objective is to foster students' critical awareness and comprehension of the social, political, cultural, and economic factors influencing the past and present circumstances of the Latina/o Diaspora.
