The Doctor of Education in Learning Technologies (EDLT) program equips students to oversee technology-driven learning initiatives across educational institutions, businesses, and various public and private sectors. This educational technology degree is perfect for those who are highly skilled and comfortable with digital tools and social media platforms.
Our curriculum empowers students to harness cutting-edge learning technologies to enhance educational and professional development. Following the scholar-practitioner approach, the program focuses on hands-on learning to foster student autonomy. Mandatory domestic and international study trips are integrated into the coursework, connecting students with top field researchers and offering worldwide insights on educational technology. The program concludes with a doctoral dissertation.
Duration: 3 years / 51 2 units per term for dissertation
All applicants must have a master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. We do not require that applicants have a master's degree in a specific field; we take a holistic approach to application review.
We ask that candidates have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA from both their master's and baccalaureate programs;
International applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit a minimum passing score of 550 on the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL). The computer-based TOEFL test requires a minimum passing score of 80.
As an alternative to the TOEFL, you may submit a score of at least 6.5 on the IELTS exam.
