The Pepperdine Nutritional Science program provides two pathways: an ISPP for applicants with a finished or nearly completed master's degree, and a combined Master's in Nutrition and Health Science with ISPP to fulfill the requirements for becoming a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). After completing both the master's degree and ISPP, graduates qualify to take the Registration Examination. Passing this exam grants the RDN credential.
Pepperdine University also features a 9-month independent ISPP program to fulfill supervised practice hours. This option is ideal for those who already possess a master's degree and have obtained a DPD verification statement from their undergraduate or graduate studies.
