The hybrid Master of Science (M.S.) in Education program equips students to become secondary-level science and math educators. This blended learning approach combines online asynchronous classes with periodic in-person sessions. During fall and winter terms, participants attend Saturday classes twice per quarter on Oregon State University's Corvallis campus. Students collaborate within dedicated science and mathematics education cohorts, learning from faculty experts who research science, math, and equity in education. Graduates will earn:
An M.S. in Education with a specialization in either Science Education or Mathematics Education
An Oregon K-12 Teaching License valid for middle and high school instruction
One or more subject endorsements for their teaching license, choosing from: Advanced Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Integrated Science
