The Mathematics Department provides graduate studies culminating in M.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, with research opportunities spanning pure and applied mathematics as well as mathematics education. Faculty members actively pursue research in diverse fields including algebra, number theory, analysis, applied mathematics, geometry, topology, mathematical biology, mathematics education, numerical analysis, and probability.
Additionally, the department collaborates on an interdisciplinary ecosystem informatics program and offers pathways in actuarial science.
