Public health offers a dynamic and varied career path for individuals passionate about improving community health and environmental well-being. Professionals can pursue roles in both government and private organizations, working at local, national, or global levels to enhance health outcomes and prevent illnesses. Our program explores how environmental concerns, healthcare accessibility, policy decisions, and social contexts influence public health, with faculty and students analyzing these interconnected factors.
Students in this program select from one of these concentrations:
General Public Health
Health Management and Policy
Health Promotion and Health Behavior
This concentration equips graduates for diverse roles in health education, behavioral interventions, and illness prevention. The curriculum develops essential competencies for enhancing community health through evidence-based approaches, with special attention to social influences on health and reducing health inequities. Alumni gain expertise in designing, executing, and assessing initiatives that target health disparities and promote wellness across different communities.
