High Point University's Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) offers an adaptable curriculum designed to equip students for starting positions in health and wellness fields, with emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, community health services, program administration, and scientific investigation. Foundational coursework covers topics like personal and community health, epidemiology, human diseases, sexual health education, substance use studies, healthcare system comparisons, health behavior theories, research methodologies, policy evaluation, program development, and global environmental health.
The BSPH program concludes with two intensive practicum courses featuring 120+ hours of supervised fieldwork under the guidance of distinguished faculty, experienced professionals, and leading researchers.
