The Associate in Science in Public Health Science for Transfer degree is designed mainly for students aiming to pursue a bachelor's degree at a California State University (CSU) in fields like health science (including specializations in health education, public health, community health, health promotion, and disease prevention), public health promotion, kinesiology (with focuses on health education, health science, wellness promotion, or disease prevention), and collaborative health and human services (community health specialization). Graduates of this program are assured admission to the CSU system, though specific majors or campuses are not guaranteed.
Student will qualify for admission with one of the following: a high school diploma, by passing the California Certificate of Proficiency Test or General Education Development Test (GED) or be at least 18 years old and no longer enrolled in high school.
