The Forest Engineering-Civil Engineering dual-degree program awards a Bachelor of Science in both Forest Engineering and Civil Engineering. Both BS degrees hold accreditation from ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission (http://www.abet.org), with the Forest Engineering degree additionally accredited by the Society of American Foresters. This distinctive five-year program, developed in collaboration with the School of Civil and Construction Engineering, starts with foundational science and math courses before advancing to engineering principles, forest sciences, and specialized forest engineering topics. The curriculum covers surveying, water and soil resources, timber operations, systems analysis, roadway design, and strategic planning. Program completers qualify to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
