The Urban Forest Management specialization offers students cross-disciplinary education in overseeing woodland resources within cities and other locations where improving community aesthetics and environmental benefits takes priority.
The curriculum equips students with fundamental knowledge in tree care, landscape maintenance and planning, entrepreneurship, and local government operations.
This specialization specifically readies students for positions in the horticultural sector and city-based forestry oversight. Participation in the intensive four-week summer field camp is mandatory, providing hands-on training in forest resource management.
