This degree program, provided by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, equips students with professional skills for careers in natural resource management. The curriculum focuses on applying contemporary technologies, sustainable development principles, environmental preservation, and conservation practices.

The program features four specialized tracks, similar to minors but integrated within the primary field of study. These focus areas enable NRE students to enhance their expertise in specific interest areas. All NRE students must select and complete the requirements for one concentration, which will be formally noted on their academic transcript upon graduation.

The Natural Resources and Environment undergraduate curriculum delivers comprehensive training in resource management and technology, supported by foundational science and liberal arts education.

Students can choose from four specialized tracks that function like embedded minors within the major. These options allow for focused study in particular interest areas, with mandatory declaration and completion of requirements detailed in the Academics section. Successful completion results in official transcript recognition of the specialization.
