This program equips educators and agency professionals to develop and deliver specialized curricula for children, teens, and adults needing special education support. Graduates become vital members of child study teams, equipped to handle learning, emotional, and physical challenges. Participants can select from several special education endorsements: K-12 general curriculum (mild/moderate disabilities), early childhood special education (birth to age 5), and/or K-12 adapted curriculum (severe/multiple disabilities). The Master of Science in Education with Special Education Endorsement typically takes about two years to finish. Practical field experiences complement classroom learning across diverse environments. Instruction is available through on-campus classes, online asynchronous formats, and live web conferencing sessions, teaching proven methods for educating students with disabilities.

A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university.

Cumulative GPA of 2.80 for all college credit courses taken in the baccalaureate degree program
