The Human Factors Psychology specialization trains students to become scientist-practitioners skilled in applying technology across various domains including military simulations, transportation systems, healthcare simulations, cybersecurity, and team dynamics. Old Dominion University's Ph.D. program in human factors adheres to the scientist-practitioner approach, focusing on psychological principles and behavioral science.
