The Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum Studies is an interdisciplinary program focusing on broad curriculum challenges spanning various disciplines. Our three program tracks equip graduates for roles as curriculum experts, academic researchers, university professors, K-20 instructional leaders, curriculum coordinators, program developers, educational content creators, and leaders in sociocultural institutions.

This doctorate program mandates completion of at least 63 credit hours, covering foundational courses, research methodologies, specialized studies, supplementary subjects, and independent scholarly work. Students can select from three distinct program pathways.

This cross-disciplinary concentration explores topics like fostering peaceful educational environments, enhancing conscious learning practices, and facilitating worldwide curriculum discussions. Graduates will be equipped to lead educational initiatives and sociocultural programs centered on peacebuilding, nonviolent approaches, and sustainable development.

Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) 550 (paper based test) is required. Alternatively, an official IELTS, academic stream, examination with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 will satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to a graduate program.
