The Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program equips students to explore Landscape Architecture as both an artistic and environmental discipline. The MLA curriculum emphasizes cultivating analytical thinking, creative exploration, and technical proficiency. Through design studios, workshops, and theoretical courses, students examine the diverse scales and cultural impacts of the field—from individual sites to urban planning to regional ecosystem management. Technical and professional practice courses provide essential preparation for the demands of professional Landscape Architecture.
The Master of Landscape Architecture II (MLA II) degree caters to individuals holding an accredited bachelor's degree in landscape architecture. This program allows students to pursue dual objectives: expanding their understanding of landscape architecture and allied fields while specializing in a particular area. The degree generally takes two years to finish. Like most post-professional programs, the MLA II does not carry accreditation.
