The Athletic Training Division within Ohio State's School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is shifting from our Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (BSAT) to a Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program to align with updated national standards for educating future athletic trainers. Our inaugural MAT class will commence in Summer 2023.

Ohio State's Athletic Training program stands as a premier institution with global recognition for outstanding quality. This is a personalized program where faculty know each student individually and are committed to supporting both academic growth and career development.

Our alumni consistently rank among the nation's top performers on certification exams at the BSAT level, and few institutions can match the breadth and caliber of experiences available through our program.
